If DVD is not your type of multimedia there is also an iPod dock available that supports all sorts of iPod as well as iPhone. You can take full control over your iPod while its docked or even recharge it that way.

The iLuv i1166 comes with a Li-Polymer rechargeable battery that can be recharged with AC adapter or a car adapter, making the iLuv i1166 a perfect device if you’re travelling. In addition, iLuv i1166 has support for SD/MMC memory card or USB Flash drive and it supports a wide range of formats. Supported formats are: Audio CD , VCD , SVCD , DVD , CD-R , CD-RW , DVD±R , DVD±RW , DivX , MP3 , WMA and JPEG. There is also a remote controller that will make your usage a lot simpler and faster.

The pricetag of the iLuv i1166 is $299.99 but for that money you are getting a lot more than just a multimedia player.
