Tesco delivers virtual QR code grocery shopping from subway stations in South Korea

Tesco which is apparently also known as Home Plus in South Korea have found a new way to attract customers, simply by putting billboards and posters with QR codes at the local subway stations, so people can look for the items that they need while they are waiting for their train.

Shopping this way is simple, just scan the QR code with your smartphone, and those items will be added to your virtual shopping cart. We still aren’t sure how the payment system works, but we know that products arrive your home address shortly after you’ve reached your home via delivery, so you won’t have to make unplanned visits to the grocery on your way home ever again.

This idea works amazingly well in South Korea, I wonder when this technology might arrive Great Britain?

South Korea has armed sentry robots to patrol

South Korea has been working on armed robots to guard and patrol their borders since 2006 now. They are finally coming close to completing these deadly robots. They have been working on a new set of robots which come with machine guns, grenade launchers to fight intruders or enemies. The guns are controlled by a control center with humans inside. The robot can walk and find the person using head sensors and motion sensors, to find the intruder. When an intruder is found the robot will alert the command central to look into it and if they have to to fire the machine guns. Right now these robots are still in a testing stage which is good, because if those have any defects they could be fatal. How scary robots now a days are becoming. The army will have to test these further before they can release them and use them to defend and attack.
